Tantric Bodywork & Sacred Intimacy

Frequently Asked Questions

These frequently asked questions are here to offer clarity around tantric bodywork, sacred intimacy, and conscious touch. They address common concerns about intention, consent, boundaries, and what to expect from a session. The aim is to support informed, respectful engagement with the work and to help you decide whether this approach to embodiment and intimacy is aligned with your needs.

Is tantric bodywork a sexual service?

No. Tantric bodywork is a consent-based somatic practice focused on awareness, breath, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence. While the work can include sensual or intimate energy, it is not a sexual service and does not involve goal-oriented sexual acts or sexual release. The intention is presence, integration, and conscious relationship with sensation — not performance.

What is the difference between tantric massage and erotic massage?

Erotic massage focuses primarily on sexual stimulation and arousal. Tantric bodywork, by contrast, emphasizes slowing down, cultivating awareness, and working with breath and the nervous system. Sensation may arise, but it is not the goal. The focus is on embodiment, consent, and integration rather than sexual outcome.

What happens during a tantric bodywork session?

Each session is unique and adapted to the individual. A session may include grounding, guided breathwork, slow and conscious touch, sound, and periods of stillness. Before beginning, intentions, boundaries, and consent are discussed clearly. The pace is unhurried, and communication remains open throughout the session.

Will there be genital touch?

Any form of intimate or genital touch is discussed clearly in advance and only happens with explicit, informed consent. No touch is ever assumed. Many sessions do not include genital contact at all, and the work remains complete and meaningful without it.

Do I need to be naked during the session?

Any form of intimate or genital touch is discussed clearly in advance and only happens with explicit, informed consent. No touch is ever assumed. Many sessions do not include genital contact at all, and the work remains complete and meaningful without it.

Who is this work for?

Tantric bodywork is for people seeking deeper embodiment, nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and a more conscious relationship with sensation and intimacy. It is especially supportive for those interested in slowing down, healing patterns around touch, or exploring presence in a safe, structured environment.

Who is this work not for?

This work is not suitable for those seeking sexual services, explicit sexual stimulation, or performance-based experiences. It is also not appropriate for anyone unwilling to engage with consent, boundaries, or clear communication.

Do I need prior experience with tantra or bodywork?

No prior experience is required. Sessions are guided gently and adapted to your level of familiarity. First-time clients are welcomed and supported with clear explanations and check-ins throughout the process.

How do I prepair for a session?

It is recommended to arrive well-hydrated, avoid heavy meals beforehand, and take a moment to reflect on your intention for the session. A short verbal check-in at the beginning helps set clarity, boundaries, and focus.
